27th September at Deutsche Guggenheim Berlin

Deutsche Bank is taking part, too, with silkscreens and lithographs by prominent artists such as Georg Baselitz, Sigmar Polke, Günther Förg, Imi Knoebel, and Katharina Sieverding: at 8 PM on the 27th of September, 2002, the first benefit art auction ARTANFALL will be taking place in the Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin. The proceeds will be going to the Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe, a foundation for the assistance of stroke victims.

In the atrium of the Deutsche Bank building at Unter den Linden 13-15, art works by contemporary artists will be going up for auction under the aegis of the foundation's president, Liz Mohn. 31 galleries, predominantly from Berlin, as well as numerous companies will be making 76 selected works available for the auction. A catalogue will be appearing on the occasion of the auction, published by Urban & Vogel Verlag. You can find an overview on the works up for auction as well as additional information on the event under: We're sure that you'll find a work that appeals to your taste, as well. Place a bid and combine a collector's pleasure with a good cause!
